REPUBLIKA.CO.ID – The Institute for Wisdom and Public Policy (LHKP) of the islamic organisation Muhammadiyah Central Board urged the authorities to immediately stop the circulation of the film “The Raid 2: Berandal” from cinemas in Indonesia.
The Coordinator of the institute, Dr. H. Nadjamuddin Ramly, confirmed that the film directed by Gareth Evans is very sadistic, cruel and full of scenes of human blood.
“I agree with the statement of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) and the Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI) about the movie that it is very sadistic, cruel and bloody scene,” said Nadjamuddin told AFP on Monday (7/4/14).
Because the film contains scenes of cruel, bloody, and extraordinary sadism, said Nadjamuddin, then LHKP of Muhammadiyah asked all the authorities, especially the government, to stop the screenings at all cinemas in Indonesia.
